#7 BERNINA Tailor Tack Sewing Machine Foot

When sewing together two pieces of fabric with Tailor Tack Foot #7 the thread tension is loosened slightly, so that the thread can pass easily over the ridge in the center of the foot. The zigzag stitch used forms loose loops which then slide off to the back thanks to the special V-shaped opening on the foot.

For marking seam lines or darts, the fabric is carefully pulled apart after sewing. The Tailor Tack Foot #7 can also be used for decorative purposes.

Tailor Tacks

Designed to eliminate the tedious job of marking garment pieces with hand-sew tailor tacks, the foot offers a way to stitch temporary thread loops on fabric for marking seam lines, darts, and notches.

Textured Trim

Stitch along the desired path, creating a tunnel of stitches. Sew down the center, but leave the edges free to create texture on the fabric.

Fagoting

Used to join two fabric edges, this technique adds a decorative touch to yokes, pockets, skirt hems, and tablecloths.

Fringe
